NEWS: Dr Spagnoli speaks at 11th EPITA Symposium & 40th AIDPIT Workshop
Dr Francesca Spagnoli, Pan3DP consortium member, was delighted to give a talk entitled “Bioengineering pancreatic tissue” at the 11th The European Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association Symposium & 40th AIDPIT Workshop.
The aim of EPITA is to provide theoretical education and in-person training to scientists, physicians, surgeons and technicians who have interest in the field of beta cell replacement therapy and regenerative medicine.
The Symposium was set up to promote engagement with clinicians, scientists and trainees across Europe who have expertise in pancreas and islet transplantation. It is the largest meeting in Europe where experts in the field of pancreas and islet transplantation can get together to share experience and outcomes. It is such a small niche area, and this meeting is critical to the working objectives of experts in the field.
